The Responsible Serving® course covers specific and detailed state-specific information that you need to know to be a certified bartender, alcohol seller or server. Responsible alcohol server training ensures that sellers and servers of alcohol understand the laws that govern alcohol sales and consumption in their state and serve and sell responsibly. In some states and municipalities, an alcoholic beverage server permit (sometimes known by other regional names) is required to be had by any employee that handles or comes in contact with alcohol.
This course will take from 2-4 hours to complete, depending on the state you are in, your personal study habits, and your previous experience with the subject matter. However, the course is self-paced and you can take as much time as you need to study the course material. There are no penalties for retaking the lesson quizzes.
